AnimeDeluxe was established in October of 2004. The base for operation is in Richmond, Virginia. The company was started by 2 high school friends (Kimani & Kevin) who were tired of the relentless searches for their favorite Anime titles. They felt that a reliable Anime company was needed that would carry the old classic movies as well as the new ones. 

      They felt that a company was needed that catered to those who could not afford the expensive prices that most Anime movies came with. With that in mind they developed a low cost video rental system online, which enabled subscribers to rent their favorite titles and return them whenever they were ready, with no late fees involved. Buying was also an option if they viewed a title that they wanted to keep in their collection.
